Meet Rabbi Rosenberg

Rabbi Yehuda Rosenberg

Rabbi Yehuda Rosenberg earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Applied Research from Yeshiva University, and is now studying for his Rabbinic Ordination at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS). Prior to his studies at YU, Yehuda spent time in several branches of the Chofetz Chaim system, including Yeshiva Toras Chaim in Miami and Valley Torah in Los Angeles. His professional experience includes working for an array of companies including construction companies and the back office of the New York Mets. He also served as a Rabbinic Intern, most recently at Congregation Shaare Tefilla in Dallas and previously at Congregation Talmud Torah Adereth El in Midtown Manhattan, where he taught classes on various Judaic subjects, officiated Shabbatot and Chaggim and conducted lifecycle events. Since 2016, he has been the weekday Rabbi at the Ghermezian Residence Minyan, in Riverdale, New York. In addition to his studies at RIETS, Yehuda was on the staff of the Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy/Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA). In his free time, Yehuda enjoys competitive boxing, curing and smoking meat, and anything and everything related to baseball. Yehuda and his wife, Shira live in West Rogers Park with their daughter Miriam.
