Meet Rabbi Mandel

Rabbi Yitzchak Mandel grew up in Kew Gardens Hills, New York. He spent two years learning at Torat Shraga in Eretz Yisrael and then continued learning at Yeshiva University. There Rabbi Mandel received a bachelors in Mathematics from YU. He then spent 7 additional years learning at YU, the first four years with the RIETS kollel, where he also completed his semicha, followed by an additional 3 years in the Kollel Elyon. Afterwards, he joined the Greater Washington Community Kollel in Silver Spring, MD and spent 4 years learning and teaching in the community in many forms. Rabbi Mandel is also currently finishing a Masters in Jewish Education through Azrieli. He and his wife, Abra, live in West Rogers Park with their children.
