Meet Rabbi Gershman

Rabbi Yonatan Gershman grew up in Chicago, attending Arie Crown and Skokie Yeshiva. He studied in Eretz Yisrael for three years in Yeshivat Sha’alvim before returning to Chicago to learn under Rabbi Chaim Twerski in HTC where he has spent the last five years. During that period, Yonatan completed a four-year smicha program, a bachelor’s degree and ran the dormitory of FYHS. This past year he spent learning in Skokie Yeshiva’s Kollel program. Yonatan has experience teaching in various settings and various ages. From Arie Crown to Skokie Yeshiva, and KINS to KCT, he has enjoyed bringing the tradition from one generation to the next. Yonatan and his wife, Meira, live in Northbrook with their two children.
