Rabbi Yehuda Meyers

Rabbi Yehuda Meyers grew up in Chicago and attended Fasman Yeshiva High School before learning for three years in Israel at Yeshivat Sha’alvim. Upon returning from Israel, he spent three years at Yeshiva University where he learned under Rabbi Hershel Schachter and Rabbi Mayer Twersky and earned a B.A. in Psychology. Rabbi Meyers continued his studies at YU, completing Semicha as well as an M.A. in Jewish education. Rabbi Meyers brings a wealth of experience as the former director of Stamford NCSY, Rabbinic Intern at the Riverdale Jewish Center and Youth Director at the Young Israel of Riverdale. He also served as the director of and maggid shiur for the SBMP Night Seder Program at YU for three years. Rabbi Meyers is excited to bring his variety of experiences to Chicago and the Kollel community. He and his wife, Martha, live in West Rogers Park with their two sons, Tzvi and Yedidya, and feel privileged to be part of the YU Torah Mitzion Kollel family.
